Method of play
As a poker player, the player sees all his tolerant poker strategy in his mind. The players of World Series of Poker had build up their chip stack but being blown away in seconds. Their natural response was to try to get back the deficit as quickly as possible.
The WSOP players had their brain continuously trying to win all the lost money back. As they wanted it as fast as possible, it resulted in the poker player playing hands that they would not play usually. They called bets that would be folded nine times out of ten.
The players knew that when they decide to play poker, one general rule that follows is that you should have fifty times of table amount at least. This helps in order to stand up a good chance to win or to equal the bank roll.
There were tournaments like WSOP 2002, WSOP 2001 and WSOP 1998, when Julian Gardner, Carlos Mortensen and Kevin McBride respectively tried to bluff. It is certainly not a good idea to bluff at a time when you do not have any thing in your hands. Then, the best move is to simply fold.
When you have a good hand, it is entirely your decision to make your opponent players pay to see what you hold up here. After all, the players’ intention is to beat up all the other players at the table and win at last.
