- Pocket Aces or AA

Pocket Aces (AA)
Any beginner player can have the Pocket Aces cracked most of the time. This is mainly due to the fact that they play them very soft. The amateurs can try to raise the small amount of pre flop and have more callers. Assume you have the button in the game, the best position on the table. The blinds are 10-20. Five people are in front of you and have called the big blind. As the blinds are 10-20, you can make a big raise. Raise it as 200 and hope to create the heads up action or take the pot down. You do not need more than two players to call the raise.
Pocket Kings (KK)
The Pocket Kings can be played quite the same way as pre flop. Just make a good and strong pre flop raise. You can then take it down when there is no call. Again, you do not need players more than two to call your raise.
Pocket Queens (QQ)
The Pocket Queens should be played in the same way as the Pocket Kings. If you wish to have heads up action and if Ace hits, you must be ready to fold. If any one raises before you, do not be hesitate to make a decent re raise. Just consider the fact that you have the 3rd best hand of the Texas Hold’em game.
Big Slick (AK)
This hand is different and you should not go with this hand in a way you might with AA or KK. You should play them like QQ. Make a re raise and a good one as you want heads up action here. You wish to be aggressive with the Big Slick. Make a bet on the flop with courage and stand for the flop. Big slick is nonstarter for all pocket pairs.
Pocket Jacks (JJ)
When the blinds permit it, you may wish to make a raise seven times of the big blind amount. It may call for heads up action, with at most two players against you or you may take the pot.
